Laurent Baratier appointed head of a Business Unit dedicated to Support & Services

Eolane, French leader in industrial services for professional electronics and connected solutions, is pursuing its transformation through the creation of a Support & Services Business Unit, run by Laurent Baratier.  The aim of this unit: perpetuate éolane’s excellence in customer support by upholding quality commitments.

2017 was a turning point for éolane, with a new backer and new governance. The group’s transformation continues with the creation of Business Units per market.  The Support & Services B.U. is now up and running, Laurent Baratier at the helm under the responsibility of Sébastien Chatelier, member of the éolane directorate.

Product lifecycle management: a strategic asset

Eolane is a recognised player in the Services and TLS fields, and steps in throughout the product life cycle, a real strategic advantage for the Defence, Industry and Airport markets.  Thus, clients are offered services in terms of obsolescence management, electronic repairs in the workshop or on site, or even operational stock regeneration, and dismantling of equipment if necessary.

Laurent Baratier, a solid background in sales and industry

Laurent Baratier pictureLaurent Baratier worked for ten years at the Direction Générale de l’Armement (Directorate General of Armaments) as a business engineer, before joining the Ministère de l’Industrie (Ministry of Industry) for three years as mission head.  He was also Sales Director at Martec in the Ulis, before joining éolane in 2009 and being named Key Accounts Sales Director in 2011.  He has been running éolane Les Ulis since February 2017.

 As Director of the Support & Services B.U., my job is to set up and implement a commercial conquest strategy, and to enhance our offer by closer proximity to our clients / prospective clients concerning the operational life of their equipment. Our clients’ equipment is, by nature, of a very diverse complexity and concern.  So, the role of the B.U. will be to be able to adapt to the demand with the required reactivity to reach maximum availability of solutions for our clients.
